June 2008 Blog of the Month: Chris Soto

As I sit here and write this blog I just can't stop praising the Lord for what he has done in my Life. My wife has been really sick lately and had to be put on temporary disability (possibly permanent). It has been hard financially, emotionally and physically for my family.

But even while we are in the midst of this valley, our Lord and Savior has given us Joy. He has provided financially for us and has blessed us with support through our friends and family. We have not felt abandoned by our Lord in this trial; if anything we have grown closer to him. We know that even though we are not out of the woods with this current situation, there will be a time that we will be. We have truly found joy in the time of uncertainty and suffering. We know that this is a time of growth for us and a time to see God's glory unfold. I have to get going but I will blog at you another time and just remember to KEEP THE FAITH.
