May 2008 Blog of the Month: Mike Soto
Hey All,
It's Mike here, the man behind the bass!
I was thinking to myself how much the word CHANGE has been involved with 3 In The Same. Lately, this word CHANGE has been involved with 3 In The Same in more ways than one. Whenever we decide to write a song, no matter how far we get into writing, there is always a possibility it will be CHANGED. Sometimes it's a little or sometimes it's a whole rework of the song. Either way, the song ends up being better after the CHANGE has taken place.
This word CHANGE has also affected us when we create our band's to do list. This list includes such items as projects we will work on next, and what purchases the band will need to make. The order in which things are done on this list can CHANGE often and we always know no matter the CHANGE, it is for the best of the band.
The biggest CHANGE 3 In The Same has faced recently is the addition of a new drummer. The great thing about this CHANGE is that it will allow 3 In The Same to grow in ways we could only imagine. In life there are many CHANGES that come your way and as long as you draw close to your Lord Jesus Christ the winds of CHANGE will end up blowing in your favor. Also, never forget that the one thing that will never CHANGE is our ever loving God the Father.
It's time for the blog to come to an end so I wish God's Blessings on all your CHANGES to come.

Have you ever just been totally blown away by the goodness of God?
When I stop to think about all of the prayers that He has answered through the years I can't help but give thanks and praise Him. One of the very specific prayers I remember having from years ago was that the Lord would bring some godly men into my life that I could form a close friendship with. God has answered this prayer for me in a very big way with 3 In The Same. Not only are we all really good friends but more importantly we're a family. Making music that glorifies God is a great joy. I can't think of a better group of guys to do it with!
God knows the desires of our hearts. If there is something that you have been praying about for a long time continue to seek him and remember, be patient! There's our timing and then there's God's timing, which is perfect. Hang in there and persevere!
Well, I guess that's about it for now. Until next time!
